In his annual state of the league address last week, NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman touted the league’s record revenue of more than $5.2 billion for the 2021-22 season, a conservative estimation to boot, according to the nearly 30-year NHL executive. Fresh crises have erupted in Jema’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State on Saturday and the early hours of Sunday leaving no fewer than seven people killed. Naija News reports that four persons sustained injuries, two children were also said to have gone missing while four houses were razed during the crisis. Confirming the fresh crisis, Samuel Aruwan, the State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, revealed that the crisis started when a herder identified as Isiyaka Saidu, was killed by unknown persons in Ungwan Pah village, Jema’a LGA.
