Sanwo-Olu Almost Denied Second-Term Ticket, We Begged Tinubu CAN chairman

The Lagos State Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has revealed how they pleaded with the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu to allow Babajide Sanwo-Olu run for a second term. Adegbite disclosed that the Lagos State Governor was almost hindered from contesting for a second term under the APC. The CAN Chairman noted that Christians in the state pleaded with Tinubu to allow Sanwo-Olu in the 2023 race because Muslims have ruled the state for 15 years.
